Our Wisely Services Electrical Team were engaged by Glencore Newlands Mine to complete an installation of two air compressors.
The project was completed safely and involved re-wiring and replacing the main circuit breakers and isolation switches. This enabled them to be remotely switched with corresponding indication of the status of the compressors.
Additionally, fabrication and installation of new LCS stands and cable tray brackets, running control cables and 3 core and earth 95mm2 power cables, new LCS’s and performing statutory testing of the air compressor installation were carried out.
